Divide the bed into 3 sections:
Left: soil + plants
Middle: gravel channel
Right: soil + plants
Use wooden dividers to separate them.
Fill the middle section with rocks or gravel.
👉 This channel:
Receives rainwater from the gutter
Distributes moisture slowly to the soil
Prevents overwatering and root rot
đź’§ 4. Connect the Gutter Water
Attach a downspout extension from your gutter.
Direct it into the gravel section.
When it rains:
➡️ Water flows into the rocks
➡️ It spreads gradually into the soil
➡️ Your plants get watered naturally
